Eduardo Damasceno-Ferreira, CFA – Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Eduardo Damasceno Ferreira established Wedgebloom in 2010. He holds a BSc degree in electrical engineering and a post-graduate degree in management from UFRGS (Brazil) and an MBA degree from INSEAD (France). Eduardo also pursued applied finance studies at The Wharton School (USA) and holds an Australian Diploma of Financial Services. He started his career in Germany and has over 25 years of international professional experience, mostly in Latin America, Europe and Australia. Since 2010, he has been advising Asia-Pacific portfolios primarily for family offices and private investors. He previously held positions as Executive Director and CFO of Grupo RBS, a Brazilian media group, Chief investment Officer of RBS Prev, a pension fund, Investment Banker at Deutsche Bank AG and non-executive director of Net Serviços, the largest Latin American pay-TV operator. Eduardo is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and CFA charter holder. He holds dual citizenship, Australian and Brazilian.

Samuel Kunrath, CAIA – Chief Operating Officer
Samuel Kunrath is a Brazilian born, Australian citizen. He started his career in 2001 in the Brazilian pension fund sector and between 2003 and 2007 worked at Grupo RBS, one of the largest Brazilian media groups, as financial analyst. In 2011 Samuel joined Wedgebloom as a financial planner and became Authorised Representative of Lifespan. He holds a Bachelor degree in Business from the Catholic University of RS (Brazil), a Master of Commerce in International Finance by the UNSW and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). Samuel is a CAIA charter holder.

Eugene Ardino, BSc(Mathematics) – Non-Executive Director
Eugene is the CEO of Lifespan Financial Planning, a Australian dealer group comprising a network of 140 advisers with approximately $A 1.5bi in assets. He holds a BSC. Degree in Mathematics from the University of Sydney and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Eugene represents Castleguard, a minority shareholder of Wedgebloom Pty Ltd
